One of our favorite breakfast foods is smoked salmon. Especially on a bagel with some cream cheese, capers, red onion and tomatoes. Yum. So when Mark saw smoked salmon in the fridge this morning he freaked out a little and said he was gonna make smoked salmon bagels for breakfast. I snapped at him pretty quick though and said “You can’t use that it’s for dinner later!”. I feel like I am constantly barking this line at him. Poor guy. Maybe I’ll put a lock on the fridge when he goes to work…
Mark literally had 2 HUGE bowls of this salad. I’m talking like 2 serving bowl size portions. It was kinda amazing to watch. Where did all that lettuce go? Will it explode in his stomach? How is he still eating? So many questions.
The only thing extra I added to the salad was tomatoes. I think tomatoes should be added to everything. Just like bacon is added to everything now.
I think we need to start raising salmon in our backyard. We don’t have a pond…or a pool… but we do have a kiddie pool. Because, at this rate, we will be broke before the end of the year with the amount of salmon we consume. At least Mark has enough salad in his stomach to last him about 7 years.
